Clay and Wheel work

1. Mondays Morning x 4 weeks

Time: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm 

2. Monday evenings

Time: 6.15 pm to 9.15 pm

Cost: $130 for 4 weeks:

Includes ALL materials, glazes and firing

3. Tuesday Morning x 4 weeks

4. Tuesday evenings

Time: 6.15 pm to 9.15 pm 

May 28 to June 18

Cost: $130 for 4 weeks:

Includes ALL materials, glazes and firing

Experience tutors: Di Turner and colleagues

These courses are designed to teach you both handbuilding and wheel work and decoration.

4 weeks of basic handbuilding techniques such as coiling, slabs, sprigs and slump moulding.

4 weeks of wheel work. Decoration includes surface treatment using slips, underglaze, texture and burnishing.

Returning students will learn new skills.

Please bring a towel and shirt.

Children’s Term 2 , 2013 class

Wednesday Afternoons x 4 weeks

May 29 to June 19

Time: 4 pm to 6 pm

Age: 6 to 11 years 

Cost: $110 for 4 weeks Includes all materials:-Clay, glaze and firings.

Clay Creation

Children will learn how to create with clay using a variety of hand building and decorative techniques for use in future projects. At completion they will take home decorated and glazed original ‘works of art ‘.

Welcome to our new Ceramic Arts Studio located in Parramatta CBD

-Our Studio caters for small classes of up to 10 Students each session

Classes will include:

• Hand building & wheel throwing for Adults
• Children’s hand building classes
• Wheel work for Children aged 11 years +.
• A comprehensive school holiday program of clay activities.
• Specialised Weekend Workshops to extend your basic skills e.g. Raku
• Master classes for advanced students.
• Term classes run for 8 weeks except 1 st term which will run for: Adults x4 weeks; Children x3 weeks
• All our Tutors are experienced and or qualified Ceramic Arts graduates.
• Prices include all clay, glazes and firing. Any additional material costs will be notified

Please complete the enrolment form. Payment must be made at time of enrolment or your place is not guaranteed in class.

Payments:-online or by Cheque: cash payments must be received 7 days prior to class. If class numbers are not reached class will be cancelled or postponed.

Course Refunds:-PCAI must be notified 7 days prior to commencement date. A 10% admin fee will be taken from payment. .

 We have so many works out here – all our artists have really put in the effort and their creativity shows. In stock we have cups, platters, figurines, animals, pots, vases, the lot!  

All we hope for is their work will be recognised as one of the best;  their dedication and work that goes into every single one is appreciated by the general public, and the collectors out there.

These lovely creations you see here are by- Dianne Turner, Meredith Stewart, Glenda Hoy, Pauline Ryan.

What a year it has been! There’s so much to be thankful for. We wish you all a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Where: Parramatta Riverside Theatre            When: 1st of September        

It was the first time for the Dreamers Team to organise this event, and they pulled it off with great success.  The organisers Joan and Marie  (with Monique who was in NYC at the time) made us feel welcome! Thanks girls! Every stall that was there had their own style, and had something different to offer with plenty of variety.

It was a good experience to advertise our shop and being involved in this art and craft Market. We bumped into old friends and made new ones too! Thank you to everyone that had come a long way to see us, we had a great time meeting you all! Cheers!
