Drop In studio access Day -Not for Beginners – Not a Class
This drop in studio access is designed for students who may wish to practice their throwing or hand-building skills, finish work by trimming, decoration, or glazing, working at their own pace. It is not designed for beginners or those who have never attended a class. It is not a class.
A ceramic tutor will be available to advise and direct you, but you are virtually working solo. There will be a brief induction for those wishing to attend the studio Drop-In day to acquaint you with the studio, its equipment, and your workstation. The ‘Rules of Engagement’ will need to be adhered to for the sake of safe studio practice. A contract of Agreement will confirm that you have been inducted and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Drop-In session/s.
NB: Making multiple items for resale (Production Pottery) is not possible due to our limited space.
Attending the Drop-in sessions will provide an Introduction to our Artist Studio Access program.
Bookings can be made weekly or monthly for a full or half day. Does not include clay or firing fees.
We supply a range of clay and glazes. We do not fire Clay or glazes that we have not tested in the studio.
