With our team of experienced and passionate ceramic artists, our mentoring and workshops will take you to your next level of artistic creativity.PCAI members are clay artists\u2019 who have developed their social enterprise around clay and arts practice. Our social enterprise business engages in a variety of arts activities such as teaching, community arts and ceramic heritage projects, and the production of saleable functional and sculptural ceramic ware.
PCAI seeks to find a long-term location to manifest all their business aims which include:\u00a0 employment and income generation for artists and associates; a local studio for the manufacture of work; an educational facility for students; an employment stream for ceramic product lines and public art commissions; a gallery and shop outlet; a cultural tourism destination; a training and workshop venue.<\/p>\n

PCAI also provides access for community engagement around all forms of handcrafted arts, ceramics, clay and sculptural forms – including acting as a space and resource for community projects and partnerships with tertiary arts institutes, schools, and community organisations. PCAI caters for all ages and the diverse communities of Parramatta and Western Sydney who wish to partake in creative projects, skills development and production.<\/p>\n

A strong emphasis of the project is to engage migrant artists and communities who also seek employment while maintaining and developing their traditional cultural and heritage practices in clay and ceramic arts.<\/p>\n
