MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION–Parramatta Clay and Arts Incorporated. (PCAI)
About us
P.C.A.I. is a not for profit artist run initiative. Established in 2007 by a like minded group of
ceramic artists, it has successfully won the support of Parramatta City Council through seed
funding and Capital funding from other sources. It is now located in Parramatta CBD at Shop
5, 10-14 Hunter Street and has a gallery and studio set up.


The philosophy of PCAI is:
 To provide a ceramic arts studio for local ceramic artists and ceramic graduates
 To provide community classes and workshops
 To generate income for local artists through sale of work or teaching
 To encourage participation from NESB artists.
 To respond to the interests of practising professional ceramists, students of ceramics,
and all those interested in Australian ceramics.
What can we offer members?
By joining PCAI you will have:
 Access to Hunter Street Studio (outside class/event hours)
 Participation and input at committee meetings
 Opportunity to sell work in Hunter St Gallery
 Participation in exhibitions and artists collaborations
 Contracted teaching opportunities for those suitably qualified
 Access to specialised workshops and firings; e.g. Raku firings, master classes
 Free artist listing on the Parraclay website
Committee
PCAI is managed by a voluntary committee elected by the members at the AGM held in
May. All members are encouraged to contribute to events and PCAI operations.
Meetings
Committee management meetings are held either at the studio bi– monthly or as advised.
How do I join?
PCAI is looking for positive, committed and active members who are willing to contribute
their time and knowledge to ensure the ongoing success of PCAI. If this sounds like you

Fees
 Annual subscription per calendar year: $45
 Joint membership (for two persons at the same address) $50
 Group membership (for clubs and organizations and societies) $50
 New student membership (1st time member only) $25. Student card required.
Please note that terms and conditions apply to studio use, gallery and exhibitions and
teaching. These will be supplied on request
