<p>This course introduces young people to both the creative and technical aspects of working with clay through hand building techniques. Students will develop fundamental skills in pinch, coil, and slab construction to create a range of functional and sculptural ceramic works.<br />
Over the four-week program, students will learn how to construct and decorate their pieces using a variety of surface treatments, including carving, texturing, and slip decoration. This course is a great opportunity for those students who wish to undertake Ceramics for HSC art.</p>
