Sunday 11 September
10 am–1 pm
Children will learn the art of constructing a usable mug from soft clay.
Using hand-building techniques, the mug form will be rolled and joined to form a cylinder, then a handle is added and finally texture and/or colour is applied to the surface of the mug.
The mugs can be comical or made specifically for a friend or family member. You can personalise them with names, add design features to them like big handles or feet – whatever takes your fancy.
No experience necessary. For ages 5+
The mugs will need to be collected at a later date after firing.
Note: The venue is four blocks from Parramatta Station. There is free street parking out front on Sundays.
